These stools are amazing. My choice of these was made after I looked at all the “low cost” options on Amazon. Whenever I buy furniture online, I am cautious. Based on my reading of both the positive and negative reviews, I decided that the good ones far outweighed the few negative reviews. It was a great decision. I am delighted with these barstools. It was a good choice that I made. The price of these leather chairs made me think there had been a misprint. But that was not the case and they are far more valuable than they cost. Neither stool had a flaw and was extremely comfortable. They worked flawlessly. My stool looks exactly like the photo in the file.
These types of chairs for my island were on my wish list after recently remodeling my kitchen. Wanted the chairs that can swivel and accommodate overweight people as well. There is no disappointment here. Despite their lack of high back, these chairs are very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Rather than dragging the chair across the floor, one can simply turn and step off. These chairs were really well received by guests after I got them. My favorite part about this chair is the large bottom pedestal. The chairs are very stable, which I thought wouldn’t be possible. Purchasing this item was a wise decision.
These were going to be lightweight and not super sturdy. This does not mean that I consider it to be a negative aspect. They were definitely lighter than I expected. They slide pretty easily. Height transitions are smooth, which I like. The metal bar underneath the footrest of one of these chairs was not very comfortable for long periods of time, according to a review. I agree and if I’m working at my kitchen counter for an extended period of time, I opt to wear my slippers (shoes would also work!).
Delivery was on time and intact with all the accessories, tools, and instructions. Despite the fact that there was no expert assembly person present, it took only a few minutes for the task to be completed. It only took 15 minutes to open the box, assemble the chairs, and throw the trash. The gas lift mechanism must first be attached to the base to properly assemble the chairs. Once the seat plate is bolted to the seat, slide it onto the gas lift mechanism.
I never experience any movement or wobble while sitting. Adjusting the height is smooth. They do not scratch my hardwood floors. Despite the wood floor, the feet are easy to put on and hold firmly. Their design is sleek, they feel comfortable, they are sturdy, and they look great. Black is the color I purchased, but other colors are available. I am glad I found this product after searching for so long. They are definitely recommended.
